Japan's beloved emperor dramatically spoke to the CNN national tv, on Wednesday the spirits of disasters hits the citizens. The Emperor says quote "I truly hope the victims of the disaster never give up hope, take care of themselves, and live strong for tomorrow." He also states that he want all those who have been affected by this devestation to help with the recovery not only for today but for a long time. A recovered cheif, Prime Minister Naoto Kan says that this is Japans worst since World War 2, it is not know that he will visit the survivors as he did in 1995 after the deadly quake in Kobe. It is known that more then 12,000 people are dead and /or missing and several hundred thousands are left without homes from Fridays earthquake. The Emerpor says in his speach "Currently, the entire nation is putting forth its best effort to save all suffering people. However, under the severe cold weather, evacuees are having a very difficult time because they lack food, water, and energy sources," he said. thousands of people trying to fight to get out to reach safty for themselves an family as they pile up on Narita International Airport some sitting on the floors just to make room for thousands of others.
Meanwhile, across the country, emergency workers from Japan and international aid groups continued to search for survivors. Countries, regions and international organizations have offered assistance, according to the Japanese foreign affairs ministry. Kyohei Kiyota, a 22-year-old in Saitama Prefecture says after a while " inspite of everything thats happen where fine so far"
To Kiyota and thousands like him, Emperor Akihito expressed his admiration.
"I am deeply impressed to see people who have survived, and are suffering from the biggest disaster, encourage themselves to live for tomorrow. This is so courageous."
